Google Images: Now even better

image

Now Google Images page has a new way of presenting the pictures with a changed layout. Instead of multiple pages, Google now presents a infinite list of images. Images are loaded only when you scroll to a particular location. It is fast and neat and more pictures can now be seen at one glance. The presentation resembles the Bing way of doing it but I found this better. Hovering over the images provides more details. The landing page, after clicking the image, has also changed and it gives a neat way to view, download and enjoy the photos. Hit the source link for more details about the same. Click here to try out the new look.

1080p video not enough? YouTube gives you 4K option

YouTube now gives the option to watch selected videos in 4K resolution (4096×3072). This is nearly 4 times higher res than the 1080p video.

image
4K resolution is usually used in IMAX and 25 feet is said to be a suitable screen size to watch this video. Nonetheless, the same is now available on you PC too. You think your PC and your internet bandwidth can handle the load?

Though 4K option is provided, YouTube Blog clearly mentions the following

Because 4K represents the highest quality of video available, there are a few limitations that you should be aware of. First off, video cameras that shoot in 4K aren’t cheap, and projectors that show videos in 4K are typically the size of a small refrigerator. And, as we mentioned, watching these videos on YouTube will require super-fast broadband.

A playlist has been created in YouTube. Check out some sample videos. Click the source link for more details.
