The video shows the benchmark tests run on the top Android phones. This test was basically to compare the raw power of Samsung Galaxy S (or Captivate for AT&T) with other Android phones in the market. Keep in mind that the Captivate results will be similar to Verizon’s Fascinate, Sprint’s Epic 4G and T-Mobiles Vibrant as all 4 devices are variants of Samsung Galaxy S having the same CPU and GPU powers. Check out the video and enjoy.

AndroidCentral ran some benchmark tests on the HTC EVO 4G, Motorola DROID X and Google’s Nexus One device. Nexus One was running Android 2.2 a.k.a. Froyo, whereas the EVO and DROID X were running Android 2.1 a.k.a. Eclair. Though Froyo gave Nexus One the edge, Droid X was way faster as compared to EVO even with 2.1 on it. It will be interesting to see how far and fast can Droid X go when it gets the sweet Froyo update in August.
